Clinic Director/Co-Owner
Dr. Charmaine A. Herman, MA, DC, FICA
Dr. Charmaine A. Herman is a highly recognized chiropractor, researcher, and educator who serves as a Full Professor of Clinical Sciences at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. She is specialized in the Blair Upper Cervical Chiropractic Technique and is the owner and clinic director of Agape Upper Cervical Health Center, Inc. in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Professional Background

Academic Career: Dr. Herman began her career at Life University in 2009 as an adjunct instructor and was promoted to Full Professor in 2022. She teaches courses on Head and Neck clinical case integration and various neurological and clinical skills labs.

Clinical Practice: She established Agape Upper Cervical Health Center in 2013. Her practice focuses on the Blair technique, which is a specific system of analyzing and correcting vertebral subluxations in the upper neck.

Leadership: She has served on the Board of Directors for the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) (2022–2025) and is a Fellow of the ICA. She is also the founder of the North Georgia Black Health Professionals Network (NGBHPN).

Cultural Competency: Developing and evaluating training for chiropractic students to improve care across diverse patient populations. At Life University, she serves as the cultural competency trainer for the Office of Civil Rights and Ombuds Services.

Pst. Stephen E. Herman
Pastor Stephen E. Herman is a minister and community leader based in Alpharetta, Georgia. He is the Pastor of AbundantLife International - Atlanta (ALife-ATL) and is also the office manager and CEO of a Agape Upper Cervical Health Center, Inc.

Ministry and Ordination

AbundantLife International: Pastor Herman was ordained on May 7, 2010, by Bishop Jerry D’Souza. He leads the Atlanta branch of the ministry, which began its work in Alpharetta in June 2010 with weekly "Word Study" sessions.

Missionary Work: He has a history of international missionary service, including trips to Colombia, the Philippines, and India. His ministry emphasizes the "healing and delivering power of the Holy Spirit" and provides weekly Bible studies via Zoom.

Early Training: Before his ordination, he served as a Sunday School teacher and youth minister at Calvary Temple Assemblies of God in New Jersey and was an active member of the Redeeming Love Christian Center.

Engineering: Prior to his full-time commitment to ministry, he earned an Engineering degree from the Pratt Institute and New York City College (NYCC).

Corporate Career: He previously worked for BellSouth (now AT&T), a role that brought him and his family to Georgia in 2009.
